Edward M. Armfield, Sr. Civic and Recreation Center is a nonprofit facility that works to meet the health, fitness and recreational needs of individuals in Surry County, N.C. Its amenities include a gymnasium, senior citizen center, indoor swimming complex, children s corner, and men s and women s locker rooms. Edward M. Armfield, Sr. Civic and Recreation Center offers life enrichment programs, as well as conducts educational workshops on issues related to aging, social interaction, physical recreational needs and community-based resources for senior citizens.
