Kate's Cleaners

My family and I used Kate's Cleaners (based on Facebook reviews) for the first time last week, and we were completely happy with the experience. I was, therefore, confused and surprised to read a 1 star review on this site. The Kate we encountered was not rude or dominating in any way, she was in fact quite the opposite. Her quiet, kind, and helpful presence in the facility is one of the driving factors for us to use her facility again. My daughters and I felt safe in Kate's facility, and had no issues finding enough washers and dryers for our things. Kate was kind and welcoming, not to mention patient to answer all questions. In the 2 or so hours we were there, I saw Kate greet customer after customer. One customer was inexperienced in doing laundry and seemed to have loaded a machine with fabric softener, rather than detergent. Kate was nothing but kind and patient. This facility is well cared for, and air conditioned with an owner who is devoted to her business. Highly recommended.

I had been using the self service laundry at Kate's while my washer/dryer has been broken. Today is the absolute last day I will go to this "joint".



I am sick to death of the rude lady with red frizzy hair who works there. She is loud, obnoxious, disrespectful and just constantly downright rude to customers. I am a quiet and refined 62 year old lady and she has treated me like an errant teenager when I come in. Ordering me how to do my laundry (seriously?), and talking down to me loudly. I am appalled at such coarse behavior. Guess they don't really need customers that badly if they can afford to alienate them.



Also, when I went back in to pick up my washed clothing to put into the dryer, the other attendant had taken my clothing out and put into one of their carts since she needed to use the machine that my clothes were in. Again, appalled - especially since their carts are regularly used by customers for piling in their DIRTY clothes to haul over to the washers. So, I had to re-wash my clothes. Owner just didn't care and there were certainly no apologies - nothing.



We used to get Kate's to do our laundry for us, but now that I've seen how unclean their processes are (some customers have brought in bedding, etc with lice), I don't trust them to clean anything.



What customer wants to be mistreated while spending their money in a business establishment? Ridiculous, low class behavior by employees is not for me.
