Wee People Day Care

My child became very ill after 11 days being there-enough so that he had to be hospitalized. His first day back, they tell me I have to pay for the days he missed to 'hold his spot', when they already charged me for a whole week when he started into the week late. This was after I had been told it was $18.00 a day. No one told me this when I enrolled him and it is not in the contract. Then, they wanted more emergency contacts (3 were not enough, and they never called me or the first 2 for anything). I was met by the director on the first day who told me I had 30 days to complete the paperwork. When I go in, none of the lights are on in the 3-4 year old areas, ever. It stinks of urine and the carpet is old. It sure doesn't seem like there are enough employees for all the kids. Now, why would they want me to pay when my son wasn't there(he could have infected others) I lost a weeks' pay, and gained medical bills on top of it. I think they were trying to rip me off because the bosses had already left. The two women in the back yard were smoking around the kids and looked high. My son will not be going back and the health dept needs to inspect the place.
