Your appointment will be held during our CF clinic. On that day you will meet the CF Clinic Coordinator, Registered Dietitian, Mental Health Coordinator, Respiratory Therapist, Medical Assistants, Research Coordinator (if applicable) as well as your CF Pulmonologist, or CF APRN. CF guidelines currently recommends office visits every 3 months.

In office services include: sleep studies, CPAP titration, pulmonary function tests, pulmonary exercise tests (SHAPE), oxygen-qualification testing, air-travel oxygen testing (High-Altitude Simulation Test), thoracentesis (pleural fluid drainage), in-dwelling pleural catheter (Pleurx) insertion and removal, asthma immunologic medication administration,DEXA scan, CT-scan, chest-xray, chest ultrasound.

The patient should not have had any contrast studies (Upper GI’s barium enemas, CT scans, etc.) or nuclear medicine studies within the last seven (7) days prior to appointment.
