Advantage Car Sales Inc

A month ago we purchased a VW Golf from this man. We saw his ad on Craigslist, and called to confirm he still had the car. When we arrived he informed us he just performed a transmission service and replaced the filter and everything was working great. Test drove it and it ran perfectly. $2658 later and not yet home with our new car, the transmission blew. Dealer said it wasn't his responsibility because we purchased it "as-is" even though he knew the car was junk when he sold it.



I traded the car to another dealer as a cash deposit on a financed car and was issued a temp tag until the original dealer at Advantage Auto completed the transfer to the VW so it could be transferred again. THREE WEEKS and several phone calls later he says the DMV won't let him complete the transfer. Our current dealer makes several attempts to contact him and asks him to simply void the transfer. He says he will do what he can. Our dealer called again and HE'S ON VACATION UNTIL APRIL 6TH. License INACTIVE

I would not buy from this man. He is a crock. We bought a be from him for 3500, the car only ran for 3 days. It has been in the shop for 3 weeks now and over $2000 so far. Car has been manipulated to run but, electrical and all pvc system has been thrown together, headlights and turn signals were bungee corded on and have fire damage, owner told me he fixed a dent but failed to tell me he left all the damage underneath. He told me the car had a complete inspection and had a new timing belt and water pump , I just paid to have those fixed because the were so bad that oil was over everything. Car actually has missing parts. He is a crock. I tried to get him to help with repairs and he hung up on me and told me to never call him again. It's been almost a month and I still don't even have a title. I have contact the attorney general and I'm filling a compliant. I advise anyone else who has been screws by him to do the same. Feel free to contact me as I'm pursuing legal action. He even confessed to having his secretary out false good reviews for him. Please don't buy form him . I would hate to have anyone else carless and out of money because of this guy. Car won't even connect with the main computer reader. What a joke. Thanks for lying and puting my sons life at risk.

This place is the worst purchased a car because I am a mom of 7 two days later it ran hot told me i would have to pay $600 more on the already almost $4,000 spent not a piggy bank but if you from them you will be not wroth it. And the BBB was of No help!! I rate this a -0 star but for this site you have to rate.
