Cotton's Restaurant

Food is good but way overpriced. I got the fish of the day, and what I received was about five really small fried pieces of grouper with fries. I live here, and usually at other restaurants this meal costs me about ten dollars. The price wasn't on the menu, it only said "market price" but you know, here on the Gulf, yellow fin grouper is cheap fish, so I thought it would cost about ten to twelve dollars. The fish was on the small side, so I thought ten was reasonable. Anyway, when the check came, I was charged twenty five dollars for five fish nuggets and fries..... very disappointed.

My food was hot and fresh. Waitiress was okay, adequate but not real friendly. Prices are way too high for food you get. Husband felt the same about his steak. It was tiny.

Overall, food is good here but you can get same thing cheaper at other local restaurants.

This place was horrendous! From the hostess who greeted us to the servers bartenders bus boy and owner all very rude and unprofessional! The food was mediocre but sometimes you will still give a high review because the people who were serving you were exceptional that is not the case at this restaurant everything about it sucked! The owner was creepy!

We had heard mixed reviews about Cotton's and decided to try it for ourselves. That was a HUGE MISTAKE. Our seafood was cold and almost nonexistent. Crab legs had no meat and the steamed seafood platter was ice cold. When we complained to the owner/manager he was kind enough to take away the over priced, undercooked food and not charge us for it. However, he made sure that the replacement meals, down to the extra baked potato, were quickly placed on our tab. No round of drinks, dessert, percent off the bill or discount coupon for our next visit were offered. He actually thought he was doing us a favor by not charging us for the food that was inedible. UNBELIEVABLE! We spent over $250.00 on one of the worst meals we have ever had. The owner/manager informed us that they have a very good reputation, by looking at the reviews, I doubt it. We will get the word out to not patronize this establishment especially when he asked us to leave and never come back. They should not be allowed to call themselves a restaurant.

The wait staff was very friendly. I paid $12.00 for about 8 ounces of puny crab claws, and $25.00 for 2 grouper filets and a baked potato. By the way grouper is a fish common to the local waters. I'd try Bubba's down the road if I were you.
