Golden Corral Restaurants

We were told to leave as soonas we had paid, rreceived our drinks, and found a table all due a customer complaining that he and his wife didn't want to sit in the same area as a lesbian couple. My wife, my cousin, and her wife left the store in tears of humiliation and anger from the treatment we received from the manager. I personally stayed and demanded a full refund, and the manager refused to give me his name or the number to his corporate office. We ended up going to Ryan's Steak House on 75th and had amazing service there. We will not be going back to any Golden Corral based on the demeanor of this person who was supposed to in a position of authority and responsibilty. As a supervisor for a $4.13 million restaurant, I can promise you if anyone working for me would have represented my company in such a negative manner to my guests, they would be terminated immediately. Don't waste your money here!!!!!!

I have been to this location before, and it was tolerable. You can tell that the management just doesn't care about how clean everything is. Personally, I understand that buffets aren't going to be the cleanest places to eat, BUT, when just about everything you touch has a sticky film on it, I'd say that it's a little gross. Additionally, when about a dozen little bugs crawl all over your table, you lose your appetite quickly. We notified our server immediately, to which she said she'd let the manager know. She didn't even head towards the manager's office! So, after allowing her about 10 minutes to let him know, I chose to tell him myself. We were offered to move tables (duh?!), and the assistant manager said that they appeared to just be the little bugs that crawl on flowers. So that makes it less of a deal?? I guess so. A while later, we were offered complimentary cards for our next visit, but it's hard to get past the creepy crawlers, and the lack of enthusiasm. I won't be coming to this location again, unless someone wakes up, cleans the place up with a little bit of elbow grease, and actually cares about the patrons who come in to eat!

I took my 7 year old grandson out to dinner for his birthday. The ads make the food look good. It is NOT good! The steaks were horrid, the fish was yuck, the fried chicken was palatable. The desert bar looked good, but the best thing on it happened to be the gummy bears! Go figure! Even all the veggies were over cooked. This was my second experience at this restaurant ~ ~ MY FIRST AND MY LAST!! What a waste of $$$$! At least the company was good. My grandson!
