We first discovered Five Guys when we lived in DC. We were hooked. When we moved to PA, we were disappointed that we wouldnt be able to eat those anymore. Then we moved here and behold, we have them here as well. Listen, there isnt much choice - its a burger joint but oh, man! What a joint it is. Each burger is custom made pretty much the way you want it. Jr burger is one patty of fresh beef while the regular is two. You say you want cheese on that. You got it. And then you can have just about any topping you want, bacon, lettuce, onion, mustard, pickel, and.............. Oh, and while you are waiting, partake in the free peanuts to your heart's content. The place can get noisy at times as its only tables, no booths but who cares. Did I mention the fries? Well, these are hand cut fresh, never frozen and twice fried. They are wonderfully crispy, golden brown, and just the right amount of salt. You could feed an Army on the fries alone. Listen, this isnt health food. They serve burgers and fries the way burgers and fries were meant to be. if you are offended by a bit of grease - do not come here. Hmmmmmm.

I've been going to this 54th Street Grill & Bar at least once a week for at least 5 years if not more. I typically sit at the bar with my husband but have sat in booths every time I've gone with family or a larger group. There's many reasons we go so often. I would say the biggest reason is the menu has so much variety and we like almost everything on it so we can go often and never get bored. We can always find something no matter how hungry we are. The second reason is the drinks. They have many drink options, the Bahama Mama is my personal favorite, and the beer tabs are cooled and served in frosty mugs which is why my husband is hooked. Their staff has always been great and we've only had a couple issues but the managers have always addressed it quickly and fairly. Highly recommended! You'll love the food, drinks, and atmosphere.
Downtown Diner is a gem of a find in Olathe. Other than pizza and subs, there isn't much delivery in Olathe so I was surprised to find out about Downtown Diner and I'm glad I did. I ordered the Western Burger, Open Faced Roast Beef and Meatloaf (side note: for delivery, you have to put in an order of minimum of three entrees). The Western Burger has to be eaten to understand how delicious this burger is. You get the best flavor of onion ring and bacon to a flavorful burger. The meatloaf was scrumptious. The sides of mashed potatoes and especially the green beans were mouth watering exquisite. The other thing that was impressive was their delivery time. We definitely plan to order from them again in the future.
