This place is awesome! Had to make it a point to check it out. The frozen hot chocolate was to die for.

Went in for the frozen hot chocolate. Wait was 45 min and once in service was pretty slow. Ordered soup and ravioli and food was just ok. Had to get the frozen hot chocolate to go as it was never brought out. Frozen hot choc at $11 was pretty good.

Everyone told us as we are planning our trip to New York that we had to go here. We were warned about long lines. We ended up not really waiting very long even though it looked like we would. The man working the front desk was rather rude. He didn't seem to really like his job. I tried the frozen hot chocolate. It was pretty good. The rest of my family got different desserts. Everyone enjoyed what they ate but didn't think there was anything extra special to it.... Especially for what it cost! We've been there and done that. But probably wouldn't go back when we return to New York!

I adore this restaurant! Every time I visit NYC, I make sure to stop by Serendipity for dessert. Their Frozen Hot Chocolate, of course, is delicious and so fun. What a genius idea! And the Forbidden Broadway Sundae... oh my gosh. Simply put, if you love chocolate, you've got to try it. The portions are fabulously enormous, so sharing is a really good idea. :)

My son loved the hod dog. Considering he is a strict critic I do give this place 5 stars!

I loved the ice cream but the service was so-so (kind of rude-ish)... Anyway - will place 4 since the price + ice-cream were good! ;)

Save this place for a special occasion. It's perfect for fun desserts that are rich and wonderful. Portions can be big so maybe you'll set out to share. Make sure you tell your waiter that you are celebreating. They will make sure you are happy!

Excellent place to enjoy good company with friends and eat a burger and fries and some ice cream.

Love the cupcakes. If you are in New York you have to stop by and try them. BEST

I live in California, but whenever I visit my daughter we make it a point to eat at Serendipity. I have her make reservations so we don't have to wait for hours to get a table. Yes, it's that popular! The food is fabulous, the atmosphere is great and the service is wonderful. The portions are more than enough that you have some to take home for another meal. Then it's desert time...the frozen hot chocolate is to DIE for! I usually share it because it's so large. Talk about brain freeze. I'm looking forward to my next trip in 2 weeks.

The food was fine, but the desserts are where it's at. Just save room by skipping the substantial food & indulge your sweet tooth!! Loved the peanut butter frozen hot chocolate!!!

I Must Say this Place is magical!! The desserts are great... specially The frozen Hot Chocolate...!! Love it you really want to go to this place and you will come back....!
