Go Clean

HORRIBLE! DO NOT USE!

Scheduled them to come into my empty home to clean the carpets before the movers came. When they arrived, they told me that my carpet type needed extra solution. The price jumped from $150 to $600. Had no choice but to use them, since I was in a time crunch. Negotiated down to $500. When I called the owner a few days later to complain, was told "no one held a gun to your head" "you could have said no" that I was a "stupid person" and that he needs to "charge that much to stay in business"

Do NOT use Go Clean. After canceling on me the first day, due to weather, Scott rescheduled for the following day. Scott showed up, wrote up my invoice, asked for my check in hand, then said "and I hope you have some extra time...I need to go back and get some equipment I forgot". Against my better judgment, I allow him to leave, with the promise to be back in an hour or so. Calls me later to say he is tied up all day, getting his van repaired... I checked with my bank, and he cashed my check within an hour after leaving my house. He admitted to me that he had no money on him and used my money to fund his van repairs, and admitted to lying about needing the forgotten equipment. Never made it back that whole day and did not contact me again until the next day. By this time, I had found the numerous bad reviews about him and his company, and could not allow him back to my home, even if he truly would come back. So far, he refuses to return my money, as he "does not have a money-back guarantee"..... He performed no work and took my money to cover his personal expenses..... I have filed complaints with the BBB and the MN Attorney General Office

Do NOT use Go Clean. We used them twice in the past, and they were okay. This past week, I learned never to use them again. I called last Thursday to have them come. Scott, the owner, said they could come the next day, Friday, between 1 and 3 pm. So I waited. Finally at 4:30 I called because nobody had shown up yet. Scott said he was just going to call me, they must've had some issues, and he could get me in the next morning, or right away Monday, or whenever I chose. I told him to put me down for 10-12 on Monday morning. So come Monday, I start waiting around again at 10:00. Finally I call at 1:53 pm, leave a message, and Scott calls back at 2:47 saying he has me down for 2:00-4:00. Clearly his mistake, as I would never schedule it for that late, and my mom was at my house when I scheduled it, and I even asked her when I got off the phone, to be sure I had said 10-12. But whatever. Scott says they won't get there until 4:00, they must've been running behind again. I wait. And wait. And wait. Finally at 6:18 pm Scott calls me and apologizes, says they can be there right away or I can reschedule. Sorry buddy, I am on my way out the door to go eat dinner. I wasn't going to even reschedule, but he sounded apologetic. So I had him put me down for yesterday, Tuesday, IF they were actually going to come this time. He said they will be there between 9 and 10 am. The guy didn't show up until just after 11:00. Scott had called me before the guy was even here, expecting that he had already been here and was done and gone. Nope. So the guy gets here, tries talking me into all this extra stuff. My boyfriend had left a blank check made out to Go Clean at home for me, so I had him call and talk to him to see what services he wanted done. He only wanted the basic cleaning. After Jarrod is finished, I start filling in the check. He looks closely at it, and asks where the bank is located, and if it is close so he can go cash it right away. Then he noticed it was made out to Go Clean. He said it needs to be made out to himself. I call my boyfriend to get another check, and he tells me to just write a check of my own and he will give me the money when he gets home. So I start to write out my check, Jarrod looks at it closely again, and wants directions to the bank so he can go cash it right away. And he even asked if I could just pay all cash, or some cash, because he didn't have any gas, and no money. This is a company vehicle. Doesn't the company pay for his gas?! So I gave him $20 cash, and wrote the check out for $304, instead of $324. After he was gone, I looked at the receipt, and the bottom says "Note: All Personal checks must be made out to GO CLEAN. (No Exceptions)" And then I added up the charges for the services he provided (1200 sq ft, a landing, and stairs. It totaled $236. Why was I charged $299? (plus tax brought it to $324) I called Scott to tell him that Jarrod had me write the check out to him, to make sure that was okay, and mentioned I had a question about my charges, but it went directly to voicemail, and I have not heard back. Scott told me he hires work release people, and has had problems with this guy. Well, fire him, and run your business a little better. Here I probably over paid, when if anything, I should've been given a DISCOUNT for all of the waiting around I had to do because they don't know how to run a business!
