If I could give this place zero stars, I would.
- It took me a couple to months to write this review to get over the harsh feelings that I had toward the owner of this company.
I had my car (2005 - Kia Sportage) towed to Ahren's shop at the beginning of July - he VERBALLY gave me a quote to fix the mess that another nightmare mechanic had started on my car. Given that I brought my car to him basically in a box to reassemble, I did not want to bother him so I let it go over a month before I started contacting him again. For another month after it was like pulling teeth to get him to return my calls or to give me a date to pick up my vehicle or a quote on what i owed him. Every time I spoke with the him the price was higher and different because something else needed to be changed/ fixed. That is understandable. What's not is - by the end of this whole experience 2 almost 3 months later just to get my car back, i threatened to call the cops twice, he threatened to lock my car up in his shop and it was almost 2 thousand dollars worth of "repair". - Ultimately the car ran, he got the job done, the engine was back in place but shortly after the engine was misfiring due to the timing belt not being timed properly.
So, If you want a mechanic that gets the job done but with a VERY sh*tty attitude and you never knowing when your car will be back in your possession, sure, go to Ultimate Automotive Diagnostics. But - i would NEVER recommend this shop to even my worst enemy because i would not want anyone to go through what i went through with the owner. It was beyond a nightmare.
