Swagger

This was by far one of the worst restaurant experiences I have EVER had. We went in on a Saturday. I had called the night before (Fri.) to ask about whether or not they took reservations. The girl on the phone said no, but that we wouldn't have to wait more than 5-10 min. So, on Sat. we get there and are quoted an hour wait time. The place was PACKED, and the hostess kept coming up telling me about how she wasn't even supposed to be working that night, and that they were just busy and that we should leave and come back during the week. (How unprofessional is THAT?!) Then she tells us that a 40 top has reservations (after I had been told they don't take reservations), and that we would have to wait at least another 30 min. We finally sit down, and our waitress was unpleasant and just plain rude. Her name was SUSAN, and she told us "You aren't going to run me all night!" when we asked for our debit cards to be transferred from the bar. Then, she argued with everyone's drink orders, saying "This is a BAR! We don't serve Dr, Pepper here."

As a former waitress, I was horrified at Susan's behavior and demeanor toward the guests. She didn't bring us our check for over 30 minutes, and never came back to check on the food. One of my friends was given a burger that was completely raw. So raw that the blood from the burger was soaking into the bun and turning it red. It was disgusting. And when we told Susan, she just said "Oh, sorry...". It wasn't until we made a snarky comment about it that she offered to take it off of the bill. Overall, we had a horrific experience here, and will NEVER be returning. I know a lot of people in KC and will be telling every single one of them to NOT go here!!!
