Aaron and Ming from RebateRentals.com spent 1/2 hour answering my questions about Gardens and helping me with my potential move from NYC to JAX. They are both wonderful and knowledgeable. If I had relied on any negative comments posted, they would have been misleading in my opinion

I wish I would have read the renters reviews before I rented from Rebate Rentals. I found Ming and Aaron to be unprofessional at times. Aaron wrongly accused me of setting a fire that a previous tenant had set. Another agent told me that I was insensitive for not letting potential renters view the property while I was still renting and moving after 20+ emails flooded my phone on one Saturday. As for keeping your deposit. Please count on the fact that they will try to finagle it out of your hands. The condo I rented had extremely old carpet and base paint. Even though I left it clean, they still charged me 300+. I just got tired of the back and forth. Dealing with them taught me a valuable lesson about renting and going with your gut when making decisions.I just hope you do your research and stay away from this company!

I rented an apartment for 3 years. It was difficult communicating with Rebate rentals workers. When I was in the process of moving out, Ming(rebate rentals employee) took pictures of my trash (which was still yet to be taken out) as well as left over plants and other stuff that was still yet to be moved. It was a hassle to drop off the keys. And she also took pics of every little dust accumulation or stains. They're very rude , dishonest and condescending and I will not recommend their business to anyone. You never get your deposit back.

Our family recently rented a townhouse from Rebate Rentals. The price was fair and worked well in our budget. We were in between selling our home and looking for a bigger home for our growing family. The place we rented worked out well for us and was affordable so we could save up more for our down payment for our house. Only once did we ask the management to fix the gas stove. Their repair man quickly came out and had it fixed right away. I have rented multiple apartments in college and know that the deposit is never fully refunded. This is to be expected with any rental property. We were very pleased with rebate rentals.

We lived in one of their rentals for a year and a half. I think we kept the apartment in good condition, cleaning it regularly and leaving it in pretty much the same condition as we got it. Nothing was broken and we even had a cleaning service clean the place out at the end. When we moved out they tried to charge us for every little stain, mark, unfilled nail hole or minor issue that we didn't address. They don't understand that when people rent an apartment, it gets used and there's natural wear and tear. Now I have to fight with them to get my deposit back. Also, when we lived there if we had an issue with the apartment it was usually addressed but not always quickly. Some issues we were just told to ignore. I don't recommend this service unless you have no other choice. I've rented several apartments (over 5 in my life) and I've never been treated like this, and we always got our deposit back because all the other places we lived understood what wear and tear is. They apparently do not.
