Sat down at table ordered after 10 minutes ordered our food, after thirty minutes of waiting and still not having received our drinks or waters, when I approached the waiter with dreads that took our order to ask what was taking so long he told me he was off and that he would send somebody else to take care of us, 10 minutes later I found another server who told us that non of our orders had been put in. Do not give this one star establishment your hard earned money save it for something else

This is a favorite spot for locals and visitors alike and no reason why not. The style is casual with a pseudo-sports bar appeal with over 20 TV’s carrying multiple channels catering to news and sports. The menu is extensive and daily specials are offered. Wednesdays is “Lobster” night and Thursday & Friday are “Prime Rib”, for instance. Never a wait because they have a large dining space that surrounds a large bar area. Two pool tables and 5 video game machines do not detract from the family friendly atmosphere. On my last of many visits, we were greeted warmly by “Samantha”. She was both patient and attentive throughout the stay. She was honest about menu choices and was always available. She was keenly aware of when happy hour was to end (4-7) in order to provide drinks during that time. At one point, a manager, Jennifer visited our table to ensure everything was going well, which it was. She also spoke to us upon our departure. Bahamian Dolphin at $11.99 is cooked in double wrapped foil with new potatoes, tomatoes, green peppers, zucchini, lemon and a hint of Tabasco was outstanding. Grouper Oscar at $13.99 was topped with lump crab and asparagus with hollandaise which left nothing to desire. Ossobucco at $10.95 is marinated pork shank that is slow cooked and falls off the bone just to look at it, served with mashed potatoes and gravy w/ the veggie of the day. An extensive entree menu is preceeded by 9 salads, 5 soups, wings and an incredible chicken nacho appetizer that appears to be for 20 ($9.99), among others are offered. Kid’s menu at $3.99. 30 beers are on tap; 24 bottles are your choice. 9 red wines and 8 white w/ 3 sparkling wines (White Star by Moet among them) to choose from; some wines by the glass at reasonable prices. If you ask for Samantha, make sure you are not a cheap tipper because she will give you excellent service which should be recognized. This is a jewel among what Jacksonville has to be taken advantage of.
