        The food is good, especially bc of there limited kitchen size/equipment. Nuce location on the canal. Most importantly, I frequent this establishment bc of the the Bar Manager, Mel. She is completely charming, professional and hard working. Nothing like prompt service with a smile and prioritizing the locals.

        Obnoxiously loud music. Menu has no great choices unless you like oysters smothered in fatty cheeses. Not impressed at all. Been there 3 times so three strikes and you're out.

        Amazing place now that it's a new owner

        Great food , excellent service. Very friendly staff. Great atmosphere. No young kids ( drinking age ) good prices and large portions!! What a great time we have there. Every time we come from maryland the cove is our first stop!!! Keep up the great work cove employees!!!

        Pirates Cove Oyster Bar has been there since 2005, formally known as Sheilas Ollie Oyster Bar. Pirates Cove Oyster Bar is the only raw bar in Pasco county that you can get to by land and sea. Our oysters come out of the shallow oyster paradise on the Florida panhandle, the Apalachicola Bay. These oysters are sweet and juicy and are said to be the oyster that made the original Rockefeller oysters. This raw bar has some great things to offer! Their selection of shellfish is unparalleled when it comes to their mussels, steamed clams, u-peel em shrimp, snow crab legs, or escargot.
