Dr. Arumugam Sivakumar, MD

He is truly quite the doctor, but if this wasn’t enough, Dr. Sivakumar is also a great person. Highly personable and intelligent, I was lucky to find him when I needed to get my colonoscopy done. He has also done a great job with other members of my family. Dr. Sivakumar sincerely cares about his patients and takes great measures to make sure he has enough time with each patient to give them the care they deserve. Highly recommended!



As for the person below, I am unsure why they felt the need to post negative comments three times, especially comments that have no basis. If you took the time to get to know the doctor or did a bit of research, you would understand that he was educated in Sri Lanka, not India. Your comment is thus not only untrue, but seems a bit racist, for it does not make a difference where one was educated as long as one is a good doctor. Declaring “don’t risk your health going to this doctor” insinuates the worst and by your comments alone, it is evident you did not even give the doctor the chance to take care of your health. Talking to any of his other patients, you would see that he has dedicated his life to the health of others and saved many lives along the way.

I waited three plus months for the appointment. They never called to verify I had an appointment - I had to call them to confirm. The nurse wanted me to contact my doctor for my records because - it turns out - she was calling the wrong phone number for my doctors office. Got there and waited an hour to be seen by a nurse. Waited another 45 minutes listening to the doctor through the paper thin walls discuss his holiday activities with another patient. I then left without having seen the doctor - he was too busy chit chatting. In a word - Unprofessional.



Don't risk your health going to this doctor. It's true that most gastoenterologists are India Med School educated because American doctors really don't care to examing people's intestines for a living. But some are better than others. Look at the Indian Doctor who tried to flee the country after infecting 10,000s of Las Vegans with Hepatitus C and HIV.
