This is absolutely the WORST company I've ever dealt with in my entire life! I've been paying for the top Internet speed (100) and have been getting anywhere between 5 to 25 since last August. I have called more times than I count, filed complaints, and driven to the store on 43rd street on 3 separate occasions in order to get a tech to come to my house. Finally after 10 months of complaining, a tech came out and told me the box on the side of my house is completely trashed, which I already knew because a tech came out to hook up my Internet when I moved in to my house the first wrek of July 2015. At that time, the tech supposively ordered a new box. It never came. So for the past 10 months, I've been paying for Internet that I can't access. The tech that came out 5 days ago assured me that the new box would be installed the next day. NOTHING HAD BEEN DONE YET AGAIN! I don't think it's possible for me to hate a company as much as I hate COX! They do not care about customer service!

Overall

I called a month before my move to assure that I had internet set up when I got there and of course, they did nothing. I called a second time when I moved in and they said they would send out someone in two days to turn on the internet. That day has come and gone and still nothing.



I am currently on my third call and have been on hold for 30 minutes. I have yet to speak to anyone. Cox Communication is absolutely the worst internet/cable provider I have ever had. I wish there were other options in my area.

Overall

So not only did Cox Cable repeatedly overcharge me for services and screw up billing while I had both TV and Internet, causing me to spend dozens of hours on the phone fixing their mistakes. Not only did they screw up cancelling my tv and keeping my internet by cancelling both. I was told when I called technical support that my internet was working and I didn't know what I was doing. They sent someone out on a Monday and I was told that they had mistakenly shut off my internet. NOW, I check my bill for what should be just for the internet, and was ASSURED by the billing person that once my tv was shut off that was all I owe, I see a random charge of $259 for equipment charges!!!! What is wrong with Cox Cable? I have never been so disrespected by a company and treated like nothing.
