I had gone to Dr. Culver for several years for various things and had been pretty happy with her and her staff. I never had trouble getting in and I felt like she listened to my concerns. However, I had a couple of incidences where she misdiagnosed me. She misdiagnosed me for vaginal dryness, prescribed me a strong med, and even suggested it might be early menopause. When I saw my OBGYN for a 2nd opinion she laughed at the early menopause suggestion (I was 30, then) and was upset that she had misdiagnosed me and gave me such a strong Rx. The other time I went in b/c I thought I might have strep, but they looked at me like I had 2 heads b/c they couldn't find anything wrong. I was sent away with an Rx for an antibiotic if I didn't feel better. Well, I didn't feel better, so I took the meds and got WORSE. I ended up seeing my GI doc and he said it was a classic case of thrush and wasn't sure how she missed something so basic. He was upset, too and asked me to leave her practice. Both of my docs said that her diagnoses were way off and just unacceptable. I will NOT be seeing her again, nor do I recommend her!
