Horrible experience. I took my puppy in for a routine spay. Two days after the surgery I noticed a small lump on her back, the next day the hair fell of and the skin underneath was raw and scabbed. I called the drs office and sent a picture, I was told it was probably from the injection. When it did not get better I took her back, at first the Dr didn't know what it was but after further thought he admitted that it was a burn caused by the heating pad used during the procedure. Dr let us leave and did not call to follow up. I had to call back 2x before i finally got someone to help me with her treatment. Overall the experience was bad enough but the follow up was even worse.

Please allow me to apologize again for the sore that developed on your puppy’s back after surgery. As you know, we were very upset when we realized how it happened and we refunded the entire cost of her spay surgery and the antibiotics to treat the sore. Our goal is to provide excellent customer service and outstanding veterinary care to all of our clients and their pets. We regrettably did not do so for you. I have been using Seiler Animal Hospital for 3 years. I would not choose to go to another vet. The front staff are always warm and welcoming and pay extra attention to my chihuahua's. Dr. Thieme always takes the time to answer any of my questions. When I go out of town I always board my pets with them and I know they get extra attention, they even send me pictures while I am away!
Very disorganized and incompetent staff. I came in with my two dogs to have their booster shots for Lyme, Lepto & Bordatella. I had all records from my previous vet. They did an expensive test I didn't need, and they got the shots backwards on my dogs. Luckily, I caught it before the vet administered the shots, but then the office and lab assistants messed up the forms and didn't know what shots were given to which dog. I had to have them correct it three times! Needless to say, I won't be going back there again. Giving a dog the wrong shots can make them very ill. It was completely unacceptable. I also feel hustled on the heartworm test. My dogs have been on Heartguard since they were puppies. Why did I need a test (for $150!) to determine they don't have heartworm?
