We have two VERY hyper and active Australian Shepherds (a 2yr. old and 8mo. old) who we left with Cara for a week while we were out of town. She met with us a few days before our trip and showed us all credentials, contracts, list of services, rates, etc. She is so incredibly friendly and personable, and we felt completely comfortable leaving our furry children and our home in her care. Cara asked many detailed questions to get a clear picture of the dogs regular daily life so she could replicate it as close as possible while we were away. We shopped around with several pet sitters and Three Generations Pet Sitting had the best rates by at least $10 a day (which was a huge plus for us!). We elected to have picture texts sent to us daily (choices available include texts/pictures/email/phone call) and she even held up the phone so we could talk to our dogs a couple times! Cara was always available to be reached by phone when we randomly called about the dogs and EVEN voluntarily mopped up our floors before we got home (our dogs are notorious for making the floors filthy very quickly!)!! It was fun to read over the daily events log she kept about the dogs activities and reactions each visit. Very professional and very engaging with the dogs, my fiance and I agreed that there was NOTHING else she could have done to make us any happier! We will definitely use their services again in the future!

Being a Pit bull owner is very hard in South Florida. Not only are there few to no kennels that even allow them on their properties, but also barely any facilities that actually give them activities. I would highly recommend Lauderdale Pet Lodge as a boarding facility. I had to board my baby girl Porsha for a few days when I had a family emergency, and needed to unexpectedly leave town. I was able to get a webcam room, for no extra charge, to view her while she was boarding. It was so reassuring that I was ale to watch her. It was so hard leaving her because she hasn't boarded anywhere before, and I was also concerned that she wouldn't be getting any activities since she couldn't be in the play area with the other dogs. Every day Porsha went out 4-5 times/ day and was able to go swimming on private playtime (which she loves) I would give them 5 stars if Porsha could have played with the other dogs. Highly recommended.
I had to bring my cat here for almost a month while I was in between apartments, and as most cat owners know, cats do not take change well. She was a little nervous for the first few day, as I would have expected, but she calmed right down and had a fantastic month! the 3-story condos give them a lot of room to move around even through they are in a kennel. she also got the chance to roam around in the cat room, where she got to jump around on a huge cat condo, and look at the windows, which I think made her feel like home. There is also no smell of cats anywhere, it's very clean and fresh. It's not that much more expensive than boarding at a vet's office, but its so much homier for them to relax in. I would definitely recommend it here if you have a cat that you need to board for any reason.
