I have been a patient at this clinic for many years. Recently, I decided to make some major life changes that landed me in another country. While not in the U.S., I experienced emotional instability. While out of country, Mrs. Morris had Kaneka to schedule me a couple of appointments to be carried out over the telephone. At the time of my appointment, I would call the front desk and she would wait for the provider to acknowledge before hanging up with me. I have never had anything less than superb treatment from walking in the door being greeted by the staff to seeing a provider. Yesterday, I walked in to the clinic with all my special personality and was welcomed back and given a follow up appointment. I do see two practitioners there: one for medication and one for therapy. When additional support if needed, the two provide consultation with each other. They maximize their resources by using electronic medical records for communication and fully relying on role responsibilities. Now, I stay because I choose to. They know me. As specialist in behavior health each person on the healthcare team MUST KNOW their patients. They do and they listen to each other.

I have been a patient at Fayetteville Psychiatric Associates for 7 years and have received the best care. The green clinic is awesome.Kanika is very professional, friendly, and is there to help in my time of need. I love her. Mrs. Dohnahoo is the best therapist. She is a blessing to me. I look forward to my visits because when i walk through the door of the green clinic i am going to see Kanika smiling face there to greet me. I have recieved the up most care at Fayetteville Psychiatric Assoc. Dr Matlack and his staff is always there for me. Yes, they do care about their patients. You go Green Clinic!!!

Psychiatrist is only interested in prescribing medications. They get upset if you "take up too much of their time" and will even tell you, I dont have time to hear your life story. Same doctor tried to prescribe antipsychotic abilify to my sister for adhd, my 6 yr old son for adhd and my 8 yr old daughter for anxiety. He didn't know we were related. It's all about money.

Horrible business. We were recommended to use them from our general doctor.. They would never return phone calls (10 of them) / emails / intake forms submitted / 2 faxes.

We ended up having to go into the location to which the employees could not be bothered to assist us. In addition to indicating that they have not heard / received anything from us.

Do not do business with these people. Their staff are unprofessional and incompetent.

I was a patient there before and they never called me to remind me of my appointments, now that I need another appointment I cannot get through or get a call back! Don't go here! Not to mention my doctor always was sick and rude to me!

barbarb37 is right on point. This place is unorganized & unprofessional. Everytime I go they charge me a different copay, I had to argue with the receptionist because they overcharged me & they tried to bully me into being wrong, & then once they realized it was their fault they tried to put the blame back on me. Once I was 10 minutes late for an appointment they canceled my appointment & charged me a no show fee. They bill you for a doctor's visit when you only see a PA. This place gives me the sleezy feel of a shady used car dealrship. When you ask questions the staff is rude & short with you when you have (probably b/c they don't want it to be known that they don't know what they are talking about. Don't call in & ask to have a prescription called in... You will get burned out calling back n forth talking to different people to find out why it hasn't been called in & them giving you differnet excuses as to why your script was not called in. There are a few people there that are really nice, but overall I would not recommend this place to someone that is in need of professional care. If you want to get the run around, told that you owe money when you really dont, have to pay $15 to talk to the after hours doctor for 2 minutes, scheduled for unnecessary appointments, deal with PA's that treat you like a guiiena pig, & treated like you're stupid then Fayetteveille Psych is the place for you.

this place gets no star's....the staff sucks!!! very rude..they think they themselves are Dr.'s...you cant get thru,or get a return phone call from "carry" they make up rules as they go along,(the staff) behind the front desk,they will always tell you "you owe money) when clearly you dont,always ask for a print out of your balance,they will not show this on your receit...so you have to ask for it....

they will set up appt's tell you one time to be there,but when you get there it will change..making you have to wait. good luck,you have been warned about them.

THE GIRL WHO WORK THERE ARE NOT NICE,THEY DONE ANSWER THE PHONE,IN FACT THEY WILL TAKE IT OFF THE HOOK,THEY WILL NOT ANSWER QUESTIONS,,BUT THE DR;S ARE SO SWEET THEY WILL KEEP YOU COMEN BACK!!

Not sure why the agency comes up under this name when I search it? Dr. Matlack has been so helpful in managing my child's mental health issues. I have also had the priviledge of having my children see a few therapists at this practice. We had taken a break from therapy for a while, and decided to come back. We were scheduled with Ms. Angela. I recommend her to anyone with children who are in need of therapy, and she will do family sessions too. Very client focused I guess is what you would call it. I also feel Heather Williams is an excellent therapist too. I would recommend either of these ladies....they would be my first choice!!!!!.....from what I have seen!!

The Doctors there are really nice and good at what they do. We've seen two different Doctors there and both where outstanding. The staff on the other hand, are not-so-hot, never giving you their full attention, never giving a personal touch of even "Welcome back", boarder-line rude both in person and on the phone. They're OK at checking you in, but expect to ask in person twice, or call twice to get any information from them or change an appointment.
