For the past 2 years Crossroads World Outreach Ministries has been a blessing to the West Side of Columbus. They provide weekly food and host special events designed to meet the needs of the community they serve.

Lately they've been getting a bad rap because the ministry partnered with a group to host an event but there was not a clear understanding of 1) what the event was to look like and 2) who was responsible for doing what for the event.

There was a serious lack of communication and sadly people involved feel that they were taken advantage of, used and that the ministry is evil and immoral.

This is by far not the case. There was simply failed communication that resulted in people feeling used. Apologies were given but apparently it is not enough for the parties involved. They would rather take to social media and express their feeling.

I can only speak for what I know and that is that the heart of the ministry is to love the neighbor. It is my hope that they continue doing the amazing work they do. They are truly a blessing to the community who recently made a mistake.
