General Info: Second Federal Savings has served the financial needs of its local communities for the more than 120 years. When Latino/Mexican immigrants began to arrive in the late 1960s, it served as a source of credit with an emphasis placed on home ownership. Little Village has developed through the years into a vibrant Mexican barrio in Chicago. The majority of Second Federal's staff is bilingual. The customers receive personal customer service and have access to a variety of deposit products and innovative loan programs. The bank offers savings, checking and mortgages. It is headquartered in Chicago.
