Way too overpriced for a shabby job. A manicure consisted of filing and painting. The painting was sloppy. Never will I go here again! Terrible customer service too

(Continued from review above) 3rd time I went, I had the guy at the door again. My sister went first, and he zipped through her nails in under 10 minutes. She told me later that he didn't buff them, file them, or use cuticle oil. And he was trying to push her into services she didn't want. They all do it - I sat there and listened to countless customers get annoyed at the workers pushiness. And the workers have the audacity to get angry when the customers keep saying no! So, now the guy does my nails, and he did all the same mess as before - looking around, not watching his work, burning me with the drill, and doing a poor painting job. Oh, and when he sent me to dry my nails, both times I had to pick up my purse with wet nails. If superpages allowed swearing, it would be right now! I will never EVER go back. If I could give zero stars, I would. I liked that they're open late - I suppose that could attribute the 1 star. Because they do the WORST nails in all of Buffalo!

Worst place I've ever been to. I've been there 3xs, and will NEVER go back! The first time I went, the guy sitting right by the door did my nails. He was looking around the whole time, glancing at my nails every now and then - basically filling my nails blindly. He failed to remove all my old polish before filling, so I was left with purple embedded into my nails. He burned my cuticles with the drill until they were raw. And he painted my nails horribly - streaky, spots missing polish, and he only did 2 coats of polish on one of my hands (but insisted he did BOTH). I chalked it up to them being busy. 2nd visit, a young man fills my nails. He was a gentler, but left a big gap unfilled by my cuticle. I walked out looking like I still needed a fill. And he was poorly uneducated, because after he burned my skin with the liquid bonder, he said it should only burn if you have a cut! I can't imagine how many people he burned! 3rd time I went (see next review)

I love this salon! I only go to Kevin - he's NEVER screwed up a nail. I get acrylic nails done every couple of weeks - they are always applied thinly and as short as I like. People have actually thought that my synthetic nails are my real nails! Pricing is reasonable, too. I recommend calling for an appointment at least a few hours in advance - this place gets busy fast (especially if you only want a particular artist).

Cut rate manicure mill.-I have been getting Gelish at an upsacle salon. My manicurist is out of town. I called LEE NAILS to ask if they had GELISH and the strengthening base coat. I was assured they did and that he was 'an expert'. 1st they did not saok of the old polish, they burned it off with that high speed sander!-ouch. Then he put on the clear BASE COAT. (fyi-thats not the strengthening base caot! it comes in a pot and is like a coat of gel) then he uses an old UV light-not the right wattage for curing the gelish. He paints on two coats and cures them, but on my way out I test it (it should be hard as a rock) I get a dent in the polish. BEWARE of those that claim they have gelish. It needs to have the right equipment and process.
