Ivy Gardens Apartments

Terrible parking policy for guests, as my boyfriend lives there with his roommate, and they are unable to compromise their policies in order to ensure my car will not get towed. I either have to go to the leasing office and drop a note off with my car and license plate, so that I will not get towed, or leave a note on my car. If I want to have parking, I have to be on the lease, which obviously I'm not since I have my own place to be liable for.

Ivy Gardens is close to Darden and the Law School (6-minute walk from my door). The apartments are well-kept, maintenance is prompt, and the parking is free and plentiful. Laundry facilities are spread through the complex and I've never once had to wait for a machine. It's a great place to live, and a whole lot cheaper than Pavilion.

What can I say about Ivy Gardens? It is one of the best places that I have ever lived so far! To be honest, I would be happy to spending my whole life in this place. Ivy Gardens is located very close to the Law School of the University of Virginia (10 min of walk).



The neighborhood is excellent, a very calm place, with a lot of trees and green areas, 2 big swimming pools to the residents, many laundries with new machines, parking lot, and the best staff possible to help each resident living here. If you have a problem, they fix it to you very fast. Also, you can always count with the two main responsible for Ivy Gardens, who are Charles and Pamela. Both are incredible, very nice, and they have been making our life here much better since the first day, helping with any issue that we had.



I've just one regret... that I won’t be able to stay here after completing my law degree! I strongly recommend to stay in Ivy, especially for those who want to study at Darden or at the Law School.

Ivy Gardens is an amazing place to live. Conveniently located within an easy walk to the Darden School and UVA School of Law. This place has an amazing staff whom has been very accommodating to me over the past three years. For example, whenever maintenance was needed--it was always completed in a timely fashion usually within an hour of the request. In the end, Ivy Gardens is a great apartment, great location, and has a great staff. I would recommend it to anyone.

Living in Ivy Garden is great. It has a great location (close to Darden and Law School), close to Barracks (where you can find supermarkets, drugstores and fast foods) and looks like home. I live in a renewed apartament with a den and it is great. Actually the den works preatty well as an office/ guest room. Another advantage is that your neighbors usually are your classmates. The Ivy Office is always very solicituos and always met my expectations. The cons of the apartament is that we do not have wash and dry machine (we have a community laundry room), but I still do recommend.

Had a very good experience overall - the apartment was nice and comfortable, there is plenty of parking, and requests for repairs were always responded to quickly. My particular unit was also great for a bike owner, as it had a tile hallway leading in to the carpeted area. The internet was once *terrible*, but now it works fine. Lived here three years and it steadily improved. Recommended.

Please, do yourself a favor and do not live here. It cannot get any worse.
