White Tank Southern Baptist Church

White Tanks Southern Baptist Church has been my home for the last 10 years. It is a very loving and friendly church. They preach the word of God directly from the bible. The members and its leaders have been a blessing to me an my family. The music is just beautiful and there are many programs from childrens church to adult classes.

White Tank Southern Baptist Church is above all things full of friendly people. The Pastor focuses on bible preaching. He moves throughout the bible with each sermon using (I believe) an NIV bible. The music is "OK" and gets the job done as far as keeping focus on Christ. The focus of this church, from what I've seen is teaching about Jesus, salvation and the love of God by using God's word and encouraging people to read their bible daily. The church isn't that big so for a local baptist church there is a fair amount of younger people. There are more "children" ages 9-15 I'd say than teenagers. There is a nursery which is helpful and children's church during Sunday morning service. Wed night's there is a bible study for adults and a children's program for the youth and nursery for the babies/toddlers. Overall, I would recommend this church. The focus isn't only on growing and getting "numbers" but on saving lives and building people to live for Christ.

Music is terrible with no worship music sung...strictly hymns and mostly unknown ones. Communion very rarely observed here and preaching is from the perverted NIV bible .Just a handful of teens here and nothing for Senior adults. Not a very friendly church with many cliques.

I'm bias because I'm a member. The first time I walked through the front door I knew this was where God wanted me to be. Our Pastor Paul Lopes is a good friend and a great pastor.



We teach the whole bible here, with some good clean fun throwen in.



We have activities for all age groups, with more on the way. Nursery for the children from birth to about 3 is available on Sunday for both our services.



Our services are Sunday at 8:30 and again at 11:00am. At 9:45 we have Sunday School, classes for all ages. Evening service on Sunday begins at 6:00pm. There also are Bible study classes on Wend at 1:00 and 6:00pm.



All in all if you join us one of these Sunday's or even Wend night you will have a great experiance, and I'm almost 100% sure that you will keep coming back and help us grow to be what God wants us to be.
