Veterinary Ophthalmology
Dr. Julia Warhol grew up in Middletown, New Jersey. She graduated from the Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to veterinary school, she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Monmouth University. Dr. Warhol’s interests include ophthalmology, surgery, and preventative care. Outside of work, Dr. Warhol enjoys Brooklyn and all the great food that the city has to offer.
Nutritional Counseling
Dr. Isaacson is a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT) and has advance training in canine physical therapy and rehabilitation from the Canine Rehabilitation Institute. She is also accredited in veterinary acpuncture (cVMA) and can preform acupuncture at any of our 3 locations. At our Franklin Ave Animal Hospital, she can provide physical therapy and conditioning services that will improve your pet’s quality of life by treating movement impairments and disabilities due to injury, disease, previous surgeries, neurological problems, arthritis, obesity, or age related changes. We also offer conditioning programs for the well pet or athlete to maximize performance, help with weight management, and improve fitness levels.

Dr. Matt Katz graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in 2003. After a five year detour in the business world, he continued his education at the University of Massachusetts before receiving his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University. Since graduating, he has been working in small animal general practice in the tristate area, with professional interests that include internal medicine and pain management. He currently lives in Brooklyn with his wife, as well as their amazing dog (Griz), and cats (Cheeto, Dewey, Pickle, and Moo).

Dr. Alex Ehrenman grew up on Long Island, NY. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2018, after which she worked at a small animal practice outside of Philadelphia. Prior to veterinary school, she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bucknell University in 2014. Dr. Ehrenman is thrilled to finally be closer to her family. Her interests include behavior medicine, soft tissue surgery, and preventative care. She is a certified Fear-Free professional, and is passionate about keeping hospital visits low-stress for her patients. Outside of work, Dr. Ehrenman enjoys film photography, listening to podcasts, and exploring all that Brooklyn has to offer.
