TV REPAIR DOCTOR

My 55 inch Panasonic TV, which was sitting "dead" for six months, and Panasonic providers had quoted us $600. Was contemplating to through out the TV, but because of the great colors and quality, I contacted the TV Repair Doctor- my hopes not too high. He came, looked at the TV, identified the problem immediately, ordered the piece he needed and within three days he had the TV ready and now I feel I have a brand new piece, and I saved more than $400.00 (and that was Panasonic)... I highly recommend TV Repair Doctor Roberto Lecaro. He fixed my Samsung TV by carefully replacing the part and testing it for some time. When I thought something was wrong after that (which it wasn't, I myself connected the wrong wires) he came again promptly for no charge, fixed the issue and explained very clearly what the reason was. I'm a computer programmer myself and watching Roberto approach and fix the problem tells me that he is talented and responsible professional.

Roberto is awesome. My Vizio TV stopped working and I looked him up after countless unresolved hours spent with Vizio and Best Buy. Gave him a call and he told me over the phone he knew what was wrong and could fix it that day. He came to my house in the pouring rain a couple hours later and had it fixed within an hour. He's a super nice guy and knows what he's doing. He explained to me what was exactly wrong while he was working on it and helped me tremendously. Also, he gave me a receipt and told me if I ever have problems again he'd come fix it right away for me. Definitely recommend going to him for all your tv repairs and questions.

Roberto came as promised and fixed my aging LCD TV in no time. Very professional, friendly and got right down to work. My TV is up and running and the kids are happy.

Roberto even educated me that the lap was wearing out which was causing the issue with the fuse that he replaced. He even showed me on amazon.com what is the best replacement lamp to buy.

If you are like me and not ready to just give up on an older TV and drop a few K on a new one - call Roberto and have him check out your tv.

I completely agree with the last review about Roberto. 1000% unreliable and unprofessional. After an immediate response to an email it took me a week to get in touch with him again. He didn’t show up for our first appointment. Finally did for the second, worked on the TV for about 30 min, told me he could fix it, gave me a quote and then disappeared. Didn’t respond to any texts or calls. Straight to voicemail as the last person said. I have a strong suspicion he actually damaged my further as there was an unusually crack/bang that came from my TV when he was looking at it and then disappeared because he knows he destroyed it. I wouldn’t let him fix my toaster. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DISHONEST MAN!

This is an honest warning to anyone thinking of contacting Roberto to repair their TV.
DO NOT.
Roberto is perhaps one of the most unreliable, irresponsible and dishonest people I have ever met. The amount of time he has wasted in incalculable.
Firstly, instead of buying decent parts online, he finally admitted himself to me that he buys bits and pieces CHEAPER and puts them together. Therefore, after the many missed appointments, unaccepted texts and calls as other people have posted, even if he shows up, the parts he uses will fail in a matter of weeks. Also, in my case, this part caused the entire TV screen to go bad so that no part could fix it.

The second time around I contaced Roberto on December 8th. I used a different number because I suspected he would not answer since he had already done a shoddy first repair on my TV.
Twenty days later, two missed appoinments, lying about expediting the parts which I offered to pay for then ordering them from someone in queens by usps regular mail, he was 1 1/2 late to the last appoinment as in the end was not able to fix my TV.
He tells me I am the first person who has had this issue.

When I told he that the reviews on yelp beg to differ, he had no response.
This person is not competent at his job. He only does this by trial and error and can break you TV has he did mine.

Beware and find a licensed pro who will answer calls, use reputable parts and arrive on time.

Excellent in home service, the tv guy just came to my home and 30 minutes he fixed, my TV is like new! very high recommended!!!
