My husband and I decided to check out this restaurant during dineLA but since the menu was not particularly a better deal, we ended up just ordering from regular menu. We had Burrata Pugliese (Creamy, Buttery Mozzarella with Vine Ripened Tomato; Fresh Basil) for appetizer and it was really good and only $10. My main dish, Lamb Chops are ok but the sauce was a bit too sweet for me and lacking some salt. My husband had Rib Eye and that was very tasty! But both dishes are a bit pricey, $40 each; it was good but not sure if it's worth that much. For desserts, we had La Passione (Warm Italian Chocolate Gianduja Gelato & White Chocolate Bacio) and Panna Cotta. La Passione takes 20 minutes to cook, but it was really good and worth waiting for 20 minutes. The atmosphere and the service were also good and I would definitely come back here to try different dishes. One interesting incident was that we saw Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez dining at the restaurant celebrating Selena's BD.

Have been eating here on occasion for many years. For the most part, the food is great(5 star) I love the chopped salad, whitefish and the eggplant parm appetizer...It's not cheap, if you want cheap and good in the area try Island's on Beverly Dr. off of Olympic. Service can be a little slow, and the tables are VERY crammed (maybe they should just do European seating instead of pretending to actualy have space between the tables?) Makes it hard to hear the person you are with. Unless you get lucky and get a booth, which they don't allow you to request during a reservation. Parking is a nightmare on Canon almost any weekday and worse on weekends. After a couple rounds to hunt for meters I cave in and park in the 2.00 city parking accross the street. This is a problem with all the restaurants on Canon.
I discovered this place through Groupon and I'm glad I did. Allow your eyes time to adjust when you first walk in. The building is small and intimate. The staff are very attentive, nice, and polite. The food was delicious. We ordered the Eggplant Stuffed with Angel hair and Seafood Linguine with Diavolo Sauce. Yummy! The Eggplant was a definite winner and the seafood linguine was one of the best I've ever had. The sauce was lite but not bland and had the perfect amount of spice. Reason for -1 star is because I thought the prices could have been a bit better (a glass of Pinto Grigio was $15) and I didn't like the fact that the "service fee"/tip was included on the bill and filled out for you when you pay with credit. Other than that... I'd definitely recommend this place to a friend.
