I have been visiting this location since middle school (when it was just a one room cafe). The Chicken Special is my go-to sandwich, which includes roma tomatoes, provolone cheese, marinated eggplant and imported roasted peppers. Oh, and don't forget to try one of their nutella paninis for desert!

We went there for lunch & it was really crowded, so we waited. Nobody even cared that we were waiting...with a child too. It was like we didn't exist. I guess they are making LOTS of money & don't need to be nice. In this recession, I will give my money to people who deserve it. I felt like I was in France...no customer service. My sandwich was good, but not worth the hassle. Esp. if you have kids, then forget it.

The nuttella croissant with strawberry will absolutely be your favorite... but be warned: if you go near midnight on a weekend, they will treat you like a drunk teenager whether you are or not. They get a big after-club crowd and they don't have servers do much as bouncers that are borderline hostile towards you.

The food is good but be prepared to be treated like an animal. I went there with a party of 12 on a saturday night and the bouncer treated us like we were doing him a favor by being there and not the other way around. He spoke to us like we were there as a burden on him. Its not worth it. The food can be replaced by another place with better service. If you go there on a saturday night, do so at your own risk.

This place is by far the worst service i have ever received. It's impossible to grab any waiters attention, and the food is whatever a good panini I rather get it somewhere else where at least i will be taken care of. All the wait staff there is sloppy, and unattentive. If one pays for service one expects service, for Beverly Hills standard this place is definitely not at the level.

Not being an actual resident of the west side I was introduced to this little place in BH. It is rather small and not a lot of seating to go around Grab a spot as fast as you can! It is so true, the service is very inattentive. They forget to bring things, and asking for a description of the dishes is like pulling teeth. BUT the reason I do go there is because of the chicken mushroom specialty sandwich. The basil ""special sauce"" is totally mouth watering! I am sure that's what makes all the sandwichs taste great. There is a bit of a walk for parking, but worth all the effort. The beverly kids do tend to fill up the place on the weekends, so it does sort of feel like a high school hang out. Despite all that, I can't wait to go back for some more chicken mushroom!!!!!

Squashed tables make the atmosphere a little tight seated and not the best place to talk about private matters, but the sandwiches are definately worth a try. There is a wide selection of paninis with their own basil-garlic cream sauce that are also available in half portions (which feels a sandwich on its own). Fresh juice, Coffees, this place is as ""down to earth"" as it gets in Beverly Hills.

The food is excellent. Our office consistently orders the panini sandwiches the only downside is that there is no delivery, so you must go pick it up and trying to park at the complex across the street can take up to 10 minutes alone at lunch time. The staff is not very attentive but that's why we do take out. The food is worth it.

the turkey special at il tram (as everyone calls it) are legendary. the sun dried tomatoes, the cheese, it's all just SO good. the pressed nutella strawberry croissant is also DELICIOUS. so, the food is rad -- but... service isn't great. it gets overcrowded with obnoxious kids from Beverly on the weekends.. parking is awful. but, if you go before midnight, it shouldn't be too crowded, and the turkey special really ismagnificent.

I have consistantly had horrible service at this restaurant and several of my friends have gotten in fights or jumped here late at night the food is very good but it truly is not worth it. I recommend you go somewhere else or take your food to go if you must. Also getting them to deliver anything even if you live within 3-4 blocks is next to impossible.

il tram has AMAZING sandwiches. there's something about the pesto sauce, or the bread perhaps, that just makes theirs better than anyone elses. the vegetarian sandwiches are great, but what everyone gets is the chicken special. if you have room for desert, the nutella croissants are AMAZING. it gets very busy in the afternoons and late at night, but fortunately they recently expanded to twice the size. dont waste your time looking for street parking, there's a huge structure right across the street!

what can i say i have been coming to this trendy little spot for about 7 years now, and i still love the sandwiches like it was my first time there, everyone raves on about the chicken special but the proscuitto specials are amazing as well, its all about the secret sauce a.k.a the basil pesto and lots of it. so its not the service that keeps this place full almost everyday of the week but its those amazing panini sanwiches. a little tip to those who dont want to wait grab the counter seating next to the kitchen which is always empty and why not grab you own food right from the kitchen as you are sitting there makes for a quick lunch and then back to work.

The scene is your typical trendy beverly hills crowd. The prices border on outrageous. The seating makes one feel like a sardine. But the chicken special sandwich is far and away the best sandwich I've ever had in my entire life. This would be an accomplishment in itself, but Il Tram is more universal than that. I have never met anyone that didn't love the special chicken sandwich and I'm pretty sure that I never will.
