Selina's Pro Groom

I was reluctant to send my 2 dogs to Pro Groom because of the first review that I read. I tried to get an appointment with another groomer but was unsuccessful in doing so. I decided to take a chance and I'm so glad that I did!!! Selina is great and she did a wonderful job on my 2 dogs. She was contentious, kind and thorough. She is far friendlier than the groomer we use at home. I will definitely take my dogs to her again!! The cut she gave them is perfect. I'm sorry that review remains on this site, I don't think it is deserved at all especially after all these years.

We are two girls with LOTS of long fur! Selina has groomed us for over a year now. We enjoy having our baths and grooming at Pro Groom. One of us is a special needs doggie that has seizures. She takes special care of me and I look forward to my visit. Selina gives us lots of fresh water to drink and loves on us like Mommy and Daddy do! We constantly are stopped and asked who does our grooming and we proudly say, "Selina at Pro Groom!" She really is a Pro at what she does!

I HAVE MY FIRST BICHON FRISE PUPPY AND I TRIED TO GROOM HER MYSELF WITH HORRIABLE RESULTS. MY HUSBAND WORKS IN APALACH AND SAID THAT THERE WAS A GROOMERTHERE IN TOWN, SO I LOOKED HER UP AND CALLED. I TOLD HER OF MY GROOMING EMERGENCY AND SHE TOLD ME TO COME ON IN. WHEN I GOT THERE SHE WELCOMED ME BACK TO THE GROOMING AREA WITH MY BICHON AND LET ME WATCH ALL HER GROOMING STEPS AND EDUCATED MY ON THE CARE OF A BICHON. JADY (BICHON) WENT IN WITH A CHOPPED UP COAT OF MY DOING AND CAME OUT WITH SPARKELING WHITE, TRIMMED AND EVEN COAT AND A PRETTY PINK BOW. SHE WAS VERY ATTENTIVE TO ME AND MY PUP, WE COULDN'T HAVE BEEN TREATED BETTER. SHE HAD FOUR OTHER DOGS IN HER SHOP AND THEY SEEMED CALM AND HAPPY, THREE OF THE DOGS HAD ALREADY BEEN GROOMED AND THEY WERE VERY PRETTY. I DROVE AN HOUR TO GET TO THIS GROOMER AND I WILL BE GOING BACK ON A REGULAR BASIS.

We took our dogs to ProGroom for the 1st time in June. They were not taken out to use the bathroom all day long and were not given water all day either. Two days later one of our dogs became lethargic, stopped eating and wanted to knaw on herself, we looked her over and discovered tuffs of hair were falling out in places and underneath that she was bleeding! She was like this from head to toe! We took her to the vet and they determined she had a deep skin bacterial infection. They said, as if someone had brushed her really hard with unclean brushes. Three weeks of antibiotics, two weeks of medical baths at the vet and $491.00 later our dog is back to her normal self, thank goodness. When I contacted the owner, Selena, she told me she was not responsible for any "rash" and she'd see me in small claims court. I feel that this buisness is money driven without any sensitivity given to the animals. This owner is in the wrong line of work and should NOT be working with any living being.
