Provided by Doctor.comBefore the surgery I had to make an effort to keep my eyes open. I was nervous to begin with, but it went better than I thought it was going to be. After the procedure Dr. Mahootchi addressed a concern I had and provided excellent follow-up care.

Provided by Doctor.comI had puffy and droopy lids until my lid surgery with Dr. Mahootchi 3 years ago. The surgery was a success and have been pleased with the results. The lids look great and no one can "tell" that I have had surgery. I get lots of compliments on my eye lid appearance. I would recommend The Eye Clinic of Florida for eyelid surgery. I also had my cataract surgery and can see well without glasses.
From the first phone call the staff tried to help me in any way possible. I was most impressed with Dr. Mahootchie and the cataract surgery with an implant amazed me that I had clean surgery starting in less than 24 hours and it only continued to improve. The whole staff was very professional and let me feel I was being taken care of properly. Their whole office is not like the usual office now days.

Catarac Eye Surgery-Cristalens.
I recently had cataract eye surgery done by Dr. A. Mahootchi at the Eye Clinic of Florida, located in Zephyrhills. I had the Crystalens implated in my right eye and left I am amazed at how my vision has improved. Now I am able to read and see at a distance without my glasses . The surgery was pain free and afterward I didn't experience any discomfort. The Clinic was clean and the staff was well organized, friendly but yet professional. They explained everything in a clear and precise manner before each procedure and answered all my questions. Highly recommend Dr. Mahootchi for any type of eye surgery.

Provided by Doctor.comDr. Mahootchi's Zephyrhills office looks plain from the outside but it's what's inside that counts! I had cataract surgery and Crystal lens implants for both eyes and I am very pleased with the results.
Everyone of the staff I encountered were extremely patient and knowledgeable. You get extensive written and verbal information about what to expect pre- and post surgery.

We both had cataracts removed this year with great success. His procedues and professionalism, along with his staff made us feel very comfortable.
I needed to contact him over the weekend and was able to do this in 5-10 minutes.

Before having this procedure done, everything was explained to me in detail and I could tell that he truly cared about the outcome of the surgery. Before having the surgery I was completely dependent on glasses and I couldn't even see the big "E", the alarm clock that was a foot away, or the hair on my legs when I needed to shave. I live in Tampa and was diagnosed with cataracts. My vision was really bothersome to me especially when driving at night. My glasses were thick and had been for the last 30 or more years. I had heard about Crystalens and wanted to fix my glasses situation at the same time as my cataract surgery. Dr. Mahootchi was recommended and I visited him at his Zephyrhills office--The Eye Clinic of Florida.
The staff were professional and I felt this was a place I could trust. Dr. Mahootchi's experience with eye surgery and his time with me felt reassuring. I didn't get that feeling I was in a "mill" and they weren't as pushy as some of the other doctors my friends had told me about.
My surgery was done a few days later. I could not believe the difference! Colors were more bright and for the first time I could see without glasses. I could even read without glasses. The staff at the surgery center were awesome. I was in and out in less than 2 hours.
I would definitely recommend for eye surgery.
