Connoquenessing Valley Elementary School offers academic programs to students in grades kindergarten through grade four. Located in Zelienople, Pa. the school s facility features a media center, a networked, computer lab, computer labs and distance learning rooms. Its classrooms are equipped with student computers, television monitors and wireless access to the Internet. It also has a broadcast center that allows students to broadcast a morning news show. The school s curriculum includes various programs, such as cooperative learning, thematic units, technology integration and teaming planning. It also offers other educational programs, including use of differentiated instruction, literature-based and whole language. Additionally, the school provides a variety of after school programs that include science club, chess club, tae kwon do, piano and guitar lessons, Spanish, boys and girls scouts and drama.
