The Fetching Post

Save your money and go elsewhere! I could've done a better cut on my dog than what she received here. Her cut was very uneven, looks atrocious, and they also nicked her in a few spots. I understand that dogs can sometimes get nicked during a groom; however, they never once mentioned this at pick up! I guess they thought we wouldn't notice?? They didn't even bother trimming her toe nails and left the fur on her ears still in knots. My dog left there terrified, shaking and acting strangely. She whined when I put her in her crate at midnight(we picked her up at 2:30). She hasn't done this since the week we brought her home over a year ago!



P.S: In regards to the previous posters comment about dogs not being left in cages unless they are aggressive. This is not true! When I went, ALL the dogs were in cages including mine. Mine has NEVER EVER been aggressive and is one of the sweetest little dogs that you'll ever meet!

We have boarded our dog before at fetching post. The first time there were no problems, so we decided to board him there again. when we went out of town for the holidays. But it was a nightmare. Never trust your pet with these people. because when we left our dog he was healthy and fine (he's only about 3 years old). When we returned he had two scratches on his face;one was near his eye. and also a cut on his nose. one of the staff members claimed that he got these scratches from the cage he was in. we think the cage was probably too small for him and/or it was cheap or broken. either way it was unsafe for our pet to be in. also our dog's front leg was stiff when he came home from his time at fetching post. we think most likely this was from being in a cage too long. they did not contact us about our pet being injuried while he was in their care. it broke our hearts and we would not reccommend them.
