Dental Examination
With an oral examination and x-rays of the mouth, we can evaluate the position of the wisdom teeth and predict if there may be present or future problems. Vigilance on the patientâ€™s part is a significant factor in achieving a positive outcome after an oral cancer diagnosis. If youâ€™re able to spot concerning symptoms early, the disease will respond better to treatment, and it will be less likely to metastasize. Our oral surgeons provide various oral cancer screening services, which may include visual examinations, biopsies, and more to detect oral cancer early enough for our patients to benefit from treatment.

Veneers
This remarkable tool uses blue wavelength light to precisely capture the unique nooks and crannies of your tooth's surface and make a highly accurate 3D digital model. It makes it possible to instantaneously examine your tooth, and your bite. It's possible to identify any additional prep work required for new crowns, veneers and fillings right then and there; to implement any needed changes; and to rescan the tooth to create a new series of images and 3D model.
Crowns
For years, whenever you needed a dental crown (cap), your dentist had to make molds of your teeth which required taking an impression of your teeth. A tray filled with a goopy, putty-like material was used so that a three-dimensional model of the prepared tooth could be created. Using this mold, a dental lab could custom-craft the new crown.

Oral Surgery
Local Anesthesia â€“ Minor oral surgery procedures may be performed comfortably using local anesthesia only. In this technique, injections are given to numb the surgical area. When patients receive local anesthesia only, they may drive to the office by themselves and may eat prior to the procedure. The numb feeling may last for several hours after the procedure.
Jaw Surgery
Our office uses KLS Martin virtual surgical planning software and three-dimensional models to show you exactly how your surgery will be approached. Using comprehensive facial x-rays and computer video imaging, we can show you how your bite will be improved and even give you an idea of how you'll look after surgery. Tooth Extractions

Bone grafting is a common surgical procedure that can restore jaw bone mass and soft tissue needed to perform a tooth implant. Bone grafting has been perfected over the last several decades and can utilize both the patientâ€™s own bone, a donor bone or synthetic material. Our team of Oral & Maxillofacial specialists can effectively restore bone in your jaw, restore your normal facial structure and form and appearance and prepare your mouth for a successful dental implant. Our oral surgeons may use one of a number of bone graft techniques, depending on the circumstances of the specific case.

Orthodontics
Also known as â€œcorrective jaw surgeryâ€ , this is the process of repositioning severely misaligned jaws. While orthodontics (braces) can treat crooked teeth, underlying issues with the alignment of the jaws (such as the upper and lower teeth not meeting correctly) must be addressed by an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. Misalignment may occur because of genetics, growth abnormalities or trauma. With orthognathic surgery, we are able to align the upper and lower jaw properly.
Braces
Dental crowding. Dental crowding and tooth misalignment may require extraction of teeth to create space for proper tooth alignment or to allow impacted teeth to erupt. Sometimes, your orthodontist can correct crowding with braces or other appliances. However, tooth extractions are often necessary to allow for proper growth.
