The work performed at Walt's tire factor may injure customers. Rims have been known to fall off of vehicles after the shop has completed tire repairs. Also, the owner provides bribes to those customers of which mistakes have been made. Moreover, the owner does not properly fix the damage done to the vehicle due to his shops mistake. Furthermore, Walt's morals, standards for safety, and quality of work are in question. Although, Walt provides a smile, the quality of his work may get you killed, due to the incompetent and technical procedures provided by Walt's' Tire Factory.

They had WONDERFUL service on their tires and went the extra mile to find me a spare for my Ford Bronco. They have very competitive prices as well.

Okay. They have a great tire product. However, stay far, far away from their automotive disrepair. Last April I had their version of a fuel injection cleaning. Yesterday, morning my car wouldn't start. So what's the connection--there was none. That is, the fuel line blew off my fuel filter and leaked a big pile of gas underneath my car. In addition to the obvious fire hazard to my vehicle, the cars around it, and the apartment complex, I was out nearly $300 in towing and repairs.

I had my car towed to Firestone. It took their mechanics only a few minutes to figure out that someone had improperly messed with the fuel filter, dropped the tank, wedged one line on top of the fuel tank, and failed to replace the filter bracket hold down bolt. Walt's uses the flush, rather than the drip method, and blew out my fuel filter.

Before I was aware of this gross incompetency, I stopped going to Walt's in Yelm after they told me that I needed to have my timing chain replaced, which is 100% false for my vehicle. I checked with the dealership and others. Wow! Walt's sure did intend to make a huge profit off that one!
