Many of these cases went undiagnosed until they reached advanced stages, making the chances of recovery slim – that’s why our dental team takes our duty to discover oral cancer in our patients so seriously. Fluoride Treatment

Dental Sealants
Keeping teeth clean with brushing and flossing can be tough at times, especially when you’re trying to reach the molars and premolars towards the back of the mouth. In order to support our patients’ smiles and keep cavity-causing decay away, our team can apply dental sealants over the chewing surfaces of these teeth. Sealants are thin but tough plastic coverings that harden in place and block out food particles from gathering in the grooves. Dr. Bonny typically recommends dental sealants for children, but they can benefit adults in some cases.

Fillings
When a patient suffers a cavity, our team can provide them with a dental filling over the course of a single appointment to repair the damage. Dr. Bonny primarily offers tooth-colored fillings, which are crafted from lifelike composite resin for an attractive and conservative result. Our practice also has amalgam fillings available, which are useful for back teeth that have to endure a lot of chewing over time.
Resin Composite
Direct bonding is often the ideal cosmetic option for patients who have relatively small dental flaws (like chips, gaps, and stains) that they would like to correct. Plus, the procedure only takes one appointment in most cases! Dr. Bonny will apply tooth-colored composite resin to the tooth and sculpt it into a lifelike addition that covers the offending area. After we’ve hardened it in place with a curing light, the finished result should last for multiple years.
