        Woonsocket Area Career and Technical Center, a part of Woonsocket Education Department, offers two- and three-year programs in various vocational courses. Its curriculum includes subjects, such as automotive technology, child studies, human services, construction technology, culinary arts, graphics, printing, health occupations, networking and computer systems. The center also provides shadowing, internship and placement services. It offers membership opportunities for students to participate in SkillsUSA-VICA activities, which include local, state and national competitions. Woonsocket Area Career and Technical Center features computer labs and a library that offer reference materials for writing assignments and research purposes. The center employs a faculty of trained teachers, vocational counselors and paraprofessionals. Woonsocket Area Career and Technical Center is located in Woonsocket, R.I.
