Tree Removal and Planting

Tree Removal
If you are comparing the cost of several providers be sure you have an apples to apples comparison, meaning the itemized service costs are the same. Weâ€™ve had clients hire the seemingly lower cost provider only to discover cleanup and debris removal was not included.
Stump Grinding and Removal
Service being provided: pruning (what you may call trimming), removals, cabling, stump grinding, Plant Health Care, planting, etc.
Crown Reduction
Chippers does not perform Tree Topping. This is a harmful and never appropriate practice that stresses the tree and can lead to decay, sunscald, and unnecessary risk and overall decline.
Storm Damage Cleanup

Tree Cabling and Bracing
Many trees, large and small, have poor branch attachments and may need additional support. Installing a cable or brace will strengthen a weak branch or leader attachment. Proper installation of cables usually means the cable is high in the crown of the tree for maximum leverage. Bracing with threaded rod is required with less frequency but can add permanent strength to a weak branch union or co-dominant stem.

Lawn Mowing
Eliminate or reduce unwanted grasses, weeds and young woody growth to maintain open spaces. Ideally, vegetation control should be done twice a year, mid-summer and late fall. Our vegetation control specialists manage unwanted vegetation by mowing (see Field Mowing below) or by weed whacking for the harder to access areas. If left unattended for more than a couple of seasons, removals will then require more man power and/or heavier duty equipment.
