For about ten years I was not feeling well and my family doctor would'nt give me any referrals. He thought he could do everything himself. I finally got my records and changed to Dr. Ocasio. He's the best doctor I've ever had. He is very thoro and takes the time to explain everything. In a very short period of time he gave me a referral to see a neurologist and found out that I had a siezure disorder. I have petite mall seizures and was having about 5 - 10 seizures a day. After that he did an echocardiogram (among other tests and blood work) and didn't like the results. He immediately sent me to Dr. Weitz at the Jefferson Heart Institute in Philadelphia. I needed to have my mitral valve replaced. If my old doctor would have kept an eye on this and listened to me" he knew I had mitral valve prolapse then mitral valve prolapse with a slight leak" I could have had my valve repaired instead of replaced. A replacement means that I need to be on coumadin for the rest of my life and have blood work done every two - three weeks. No wonder I wasn't feeling well and looked like total crap. I should have changed doctors a long time before this like my husband said.



My thanks to Dr. Ocasio for all that he's done for me and actually saving my life. If you're searching for a new doctor I would highly recommend Dr. Ocasio.
