Alvin T. DeTorres, M.D., joined The Ear, Nose, Throat and Plastic Surgery Associates in 2020. Dr. DeTorres is seeing patients at our Winter Park, Altamonte Springs, and Central Orlando offices. Dr. DeTorres is fellowship-trained in Otology-Neurotology from the University of Utah School of Medicine. He focuses on treating patients with ear problems and he also sees patients with general ENT issues. Dr. DeTorres graduated magna cum laude from Stetson University with a Bachelor of Science Degree, majoring in Molecular Biology. Dr. DeTorres obtained his medical degree from the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and completed his Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery residency at Georgetown University Medical Center. Dr. DeTorres has authored and presented an array of papers and publications at numerous venues across the country including the American Neurotology Society and the North American Skull Base Society.
