Swindled, misled.
Before I scheduled any work I was assured they take my insurance. I was told my portion of a two-part procedure would be $670. I paid in full before I left. Months later they want $960 more. I tried to figure out what happened, "what criteria do you use to make estimates after insurance?" to which she replied on the phone, "that's a good question."

Dr. Logan said we (national guardsmen) deserve better than the periodic treatment we receive, the front desk said, "well, we didn't realize your insurance was the guard kind." No adjustments, they only offered all-caps emails and small claims court threats. I asked to talk about my experience with Dr. Logan, "he doesn't get involved with accounts." I wrote a letter addressed to him, no response. Perhaps he knows nothing about my experience, I wouldn't know. Maybe their $960 is worth the negative review, that's low PTD.

PS-I hear ya, melissa from years ago, Connie is still rude in 2018.

I could not agree with Disappointed081364 more! I do not doubt Dr. Logan is a good dentist, but the staff at the front desk is an absolute abysmal. The billing process is a true guessing game. One moment, I'm told I owe $25, and then somehow that mysteriously goes up to $50. It is all about money in that office, and while I have no problem paying for good services, it's just not worth the headache. Dr. Logan referred me to an orthodontist and told me I was required to have a full mouth x-ray before the orthodontist would see me, so I paid for the x-rays out-of-pocket. The orthodontist said Dr. Logan was wrong: the x-rays were not necessary at all. Furthermore, the receptionists at Dr. Logan's office are very unprofessional and rude. One receptionist (Connie) continued to cut me off as I tried to have a conversation with her about my x-rays. Then, while I stood there at the counter, she answered the phone, which would have been fine if to tell the callers she was with another patient, BUT she carried on LONG conversations with the callers like I had nowhere to be! Then she tried to tell me it is not legal for me to obtain copies of my own dental records. Really?

Please avoid this office at all cost. I am so thankful to have found Dr. Andrew Wojkowski a.k.a. Dr. Drew at University Dental Associates. I will never see another dentist besides Dr. Drew again.

SAVE YOURSELF AND YOUR MONEY!!!

They definitely didn't have enough staff members on hand, and I even had to hold an instrument while he was getting something out of my cavity that HE PUT THERE. I was treated terribly when it came to the billing process. The receptionist made a mistake after mistake, and now I have to pay 600 dollars for something that would have been covered by my insurance after 30 days, AND they already owed me money from the last procedure! There were several billing issues that never got resolved. I'd had enough... I just never went back... I'm absolutely positive that I would have gotten better service anywhere else. I wasn't worried about their equipment, but what good is good equipment if you're guaranteed to be overcharged!!! That lady is flying through that job by the seat of her pants, and from what I can tell, he's ok with that! Not to mention he never completed the job and still sent me a huge BILL! The dentist is pretty good at what he does, but the poor business practice definitely cost them my business. SAVE YOURSELF AND YOUR MONEY!
