Palms Nail Spa

The girls at palms are awesome. They do a great job my nails are always looking great. Anne she's awesome, nice and caring, Gina she's funny caring and does amazing job. Helen she's nice, very quiet and as well she does an amazing job. I am a regular costumer I always get gel manicure and a regular pedicure (hot stone massage is a plus) and the girls always treat me super nice. The inviroment inside palms is relaxing and calm. I read the reviews for this spa; they seemed very good, so I made an appointment. The gel over acrylic job was good, but three of my fingers were nicked. At the time, I felt a little stinging, but thought it may have been product on my skin (I am new to this process). The next day, I had three small red and painful sores. I still have small scabs. I would think infection would be a concern and more caution would be taken. In addition, several reviews said that the staff at Palms were professional and spoke only English in front of clients. My manicurist had a conversation with another nearly the whole time. They weren't speaking English, but they did apologize profusely in English more than once. My irritation escalated when the other employee came over and started whispering in my manicurist's ear! I didn't think they were talking about me, but I did think it was very unprofessional and rude. I sent an e-mail through the spa's website one week ago, and have not received any kind of response, so I did give them a chance to comment. I will not be going back, nor will I recommend "Helen" or The Palms Spa to friends.
