Robinson Middle School is a public school that provides academic education and higher learning opportunities to students in grades six through eight. The school, located in Wichita, Kan., enrolls more than 700 students. The school s curriculum includes English, mathematics, foreign languages, science, social studies, and family and consumer science. It also provides physical and special education. Additionally, the school offers special programs for students suffering from mental retardation and developmental disabilities. It also provides higher learning opportunities for talented students, and offers after school programs. It emphasizes on reading, writing and communication and cognitive skills. The school has a library that provides literary sources, curriculum books, internet search tools and computer workstations. Robinson Middle School organizes various extracurricular activities, such as art, music, jazz band, chorus, logical games and science fairs. It additionally offers student clubs and organizations and Junior Honor Society program. Robinson Middle School was established in 1932 and is a part of the Wichita Public Schools district.
