Computer Doctor

Man, I can't get over how helpful the guy in there was. I went in with what I thought was just a virus but it turns out that my hard drive was failing. The guy there let me know that he could save my years worth in pictures I had of my family. Long story short, without this guy I would have lost what was worth $100 million dollars in pictures to me.

I also got an external Hard drive to back them up from here on out. Thanks for the help man.

Stay away!!! Paid for an advanced diagnostics on our laptop, which was $139.95. Three weeks later they were just installing a dc jack without ever running diagnostics on it. Needless to say, it was not the dc jack. All they did was assume they knew what was wrong and ordered a part. The girl working the counter even told the owner that we told her we knew what was wrong and it was the dc jack. If we knew that, why would we pay for a $139.95 diagnostics?

We've been an actual customer of Computer Doctor for 1 year and have nothing but the highest praise for these place. They go "above and beyond" every time. If we leave a message, we get callbacks within a few hours. I wish the support guys where I work had the skills and attitude these guys have. From replacing a fried hard drive on my wife's laptop (and recovering the data) to helping configure a new Outlook 2010 installation (just finished tonight at 7:45pm cst), these guys really know what they are doing and stick around till the problem is SOLVED. From my experience, they are several levels deep in experienced techs. If the Level 1 guy can't solve the problem, he doesn't hesitate to "go up the ladder" to some seriously techy people until the solution is reached. I'm glad to have them in our corner.

Just want to thank the Computer Doctor for their wonderful service in backing up my data and advising me on buying another computer. I fried my motherboard and video card in the Atlanta Airport in route to Montgomery and used my IPad to find a computer repair store with good ratings. I was reluctant at first because this company had like 99% positive ratings all over the net, which is kind of unheard of these days. But after one visit I now understand why! These guys have great support and a great staff. They don't hesitate to go out of there way to provide quality and professional service. I definitely give the Computer Doctor two thumbs up.

My computer suffered from virus software popup's telling me my computer had a virus. I was not able to use my laptop at all do to these annoying popup's. On my way home from work while on Hwy 231 I noticed The Computer Doctor sign that I had not noticed before. The next day I decided to stop in with my computer.



Went in side and was shocked at what a professional repair store this is, so i asked the question how long has this been here? I was told that although the owner had only moved to wetumpka just a few years ago, he had been servicing computers in California for years and decided to move to Montgomery, and ended up residing in Wetumpka



I just wanna say, Thank you, thank you, thank you for fixing my computer and for coming to Wetumpka . The store slogan is right, "The doctor knows best" I no longer need to drive to Montgomery for a Geek, when I have a Doctor :-)



They also stated that the store opened in January of 2010



If I have a problem with the repair job done at this store, I will follow up with this post at a later date. But as for now I'm a happy camper!
