First Church of the Living God

A laid back preacher who's been there and done that who was called of God to change his life over 30 years ago is the man of God you'd want as a brother in Christ and friend. Many of the people in this congregation are related and have been together for a long time. There are many babies, some young couples, and a few older ones. The music is NOT for the old school type! It is very annointed and very lively. You wouldn't hear this type of modern worship even in the best clubs of Columbia if you were NOT a Christian! We have such a group who were weekend rockers in the Vista and 5 Points. Then they were saved 2-3 years ago! THEY ROCK! We are senior citizens who thought the Doors, Mike Jagger, the Beatles, and secular groups of the 1970's and 1980's were great. Well we were wrong! There is NOTHING better than this close knit church down in South Congaree!
