My last visit to J Alexander started out rough due to the 2 hour wait, but the wait was definitely well worth it. Food was delivered shortly after ordering, drinks were refilled without asking, portions were appropriate and the ceaser salad and crab cakes are unlike any other! The only thing I would sugguest is calling ahead to find out the wait time. Other than that, will definitely revisit!

It is a casual dining restaurant that was founded in 1971 by three local businessmen from Nashville, Tenn. The restaurant is known for its award-winning prime rib and baby back ribs, as well as desserts made from scratch. Its menu also features a variety of hardwood-grilled steaks, salmon, seafood, soups, entr es, salads, burgers and sandwiches. The restaurant maintains one of its locations in West Bloomfield, Mich., and features a variety of architectural designs, building finishes and original artwork to provide its guests with an attractive environment.
