This is the best Russian restaurant in Greater Detroit. They are famous for their superb lamb chops, the best I ever had. On the weekends, the place is busy serving large groups; you typically have to make a reservation about a month in advance and for a fixed price $50-60 p.p. select the courses from the "pre-packaged" menu: so many salads, hot appetizers, entrees, desserts. This is a great way to sample a Russian cousin. The food is delicious, plentiful and nicely presented. The service is courteous. Vodka and wine is included, as well as live entertainment. Of course you don't have to select the pre-packaged menu, you can order a la carte -- this might work better a smaller group, or if you don't have time for sitting through a 12+ course dinner.
