        Waupaca Camping Park, LLC Welcome to Waupaca Camping Park, LLC, a family campground located just South of the city of Waupaca, Wisconsin, near the junction of Highways 10 and 22 South. The park is located just two miles from the Chain O'Lakes and Crystal River area and is in the center of all the county's attractions and events. This makes the park an excellent base camp. Many of our campers find our excellent location and fine facilities to be an added reason to stay longer. Waupaca Camping Park, LLC offers all the comforts and conveniences that make good times better. Conveniences that we offer include a food store, ice, firewood, laundry, propane, full hook-ups and dump stations. The comforts include free hot showers, clean ceramic tiled bathrooms, heated swimming pool, game room and playground. We added a solar heater to our pool in the Fall of 2004. You can see some of the panels in the adjacent photo. It works very well. The pool Temperature stays in the 80's and 90's most of the season. Local activities and events include mini golf, canoeing on the Crystal River, tubing on the Wolf River, sternwheeler cruise on the Chain O' Lakes, fishing in the clear waters of the lakes and streams, boat and Pontoon rentals, several ski shows, horseback riding and five golf courses to name a few. You'll enjoy your stay at Waupaca Camping Park, LLC, because we take pride in offering friendly, quality services. The best awaits you.         This unscrupulous campsite owner will kick you when you are down just to make a few greenbacks.

        The tornadoes of August in Appleton damaged the camper RV and left tree damage and outages for the entire city. When cancelling a reservation made 6 days in advance, the owner insisted upon keeping the measly 35.00 fee to reserve the site because he needed 7 day notice. All kinds of erroneous excuses were given for keeping the deposit. Being a senior citizen on social security income I would advise anyone who has any wits about them to consider other sites where the owners have a little more compassion for those who have suffered losses due to no fault of their own and who not as greed driven as this owner.

        Other stories I have heard involve the regiment of gestapo rules enforced at the campsite about radios, visitors, fires, etc.

        We recently spent 12 days at Waupaca Camping Park. We loved it. It is clean, relaxing and has plenty of activities for all ages. The pool is warm and clean. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. I plan to stay here again and again and recommend this camp if you are in the chain of lakes area. Happy trails all!
