General Info: Birds Eye Foods, headquartered in Rochester, N.Y., provides some of the leading food brands, including Birds Eye, Comstock, Freshlike and McKenzie's. It also provides Bernstein's brands, such as salad dressings, Birds Eye, Birds Eye Fresh, Birds Eye Steamfresh, Birds Eye Voila, Brooks, Greenwood Beets and Husman's. The company was founded in the early 1960s and was formerly known as Agrilink Foods. It has various manufacturing and administrative facilities at several locations, such as Watsonville, Calif., Montezuma, Ga., Fennville, Mich., and Waseca, Minn. Birds Eye Foods also operates various offices in Bergen, Brockport, Fulton, Oakfield, N.Y., and Berlin, Penn. The company also partners with Pro-Fac, a farmers cooperative that offers a wide variety of farm products.
